Professional Profile

Data Analyst specializing in BI development and applied research analytics. I build evidence-based decision-support tools that combine multi-source data integration, Power BI dashboards, and rigorous analytical frameworks.

Current work focuses on micromobility road safety in Tel Aviv — a longitudinal study integrating CBS crash data, GIS layers, rider surveys and enforcement records across 4 phases (2013–2025). The resulting BI system was presented to Tel Aviv municipality and at the ISTRC Conference, Technion (January 2026).

A full journal paper is in preparation for Safety Science (Elsevier, CiteScore 12.8).

Strong in Power BI semantic modeling, DAX, QGIS spatial enrichment, SQL, and Python data preparation. Experienced in KPI design, metric development, and translating complex findings into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders.

Core Skills

Power BI: semantic modeling, relationships, DAX measures, drill-through,  bookmarks, tooltips, performance hygiene, Power BI Service publishing, AI visuals (Decomposition Tree, Key Influencers, Q&A natural language)

Data Modeling: star schema / dimensional modeling, fact/dimension design

Data Prep: Power Query (M), data quality checks, documentation / data dictionary

Geospatial: QGIS point-in-polygon enrichment, spatial joins (quarters/streets)

Analytics: KPI design, severity rates, density metrics, segmentation, statistical testing, longitudinal analysis, metric design, multi-source data integration, cross-source triangulation, policy-oriented analytics

Languages: SQL, Python

AI-assisted workflows: Claude MCP for exploratory analysis, AI-supported code generation

Professional Experience

  • Analyzed ride/usage data to understand shared e-scooter demand patterns by time and location and support operational planning.

  • Detected and documented data anomalies affecting operational reporting and inventory assumptions (Python, Tableau, QGIS, SQL).

  • Delivered concise summaries and visuals for stakeholders to improve data reliability and decision-making.

Research Assistant · Holon Institute of Technology (HIT)  |  January 2026 – Present
Research Data Analyst · ANYWAY / Data for Change NGO  |  August 2024 – Present

Volunteer research analyst developing a multi-phase BI system for micromobility road safety in Tel Aviv, in collaboration with HIT (Holon Institute of Technology).

Project scope — 4 phases of longitudinal analysis (2013–2025):

· Phase 1: Israel-wide crash overview, CBS 2013–2023

· Phase 2: Tel Aviv micromobility, benchmarked against Israel, CBS 2023–Aug 2024

· Phase 3: Tel Aviv e-scooters in depth, CBS + QGIS spatial layers, to Jun 2025

· Phase 4: Full integration — CBS + GIS + rider surveys + enforcement (in progress)

Key analytical contributions:

· Developed systematic framework for parallel analysis of crash volume vs. severity across time, location, demographics and road conditions simultaneously

· Identified dramatic passenger risk: ~23% severity rate vs. ~7.5% for riders

· Quantified helmet law impact (2021): compliance rose ~52% → ~70%

· Documented solo crash underreporting: official data captures ~5% of real events

· Built self-serve Power BI tool enabling municipality staff to explore 13 years

of crash data independently — presented to Tel Aviv municipality

Technical stack: Power BI · DAX · Power Query · SQL · Python · QGIS

Research outputs:

· Conference paper, ISTRC, Technion, January 2026

· Journal paper in preparation — Safety Science, Elsevier (CiteScore 12.8)

· Two analytical reports: Solo Crash Underreporting, Helmet Law Impact

Data Analytics Intern · ANYWAY / Lime  |  November 2024 – March 2025

  • Analyzed ride/usage data to understand shared e-scooter demand patterns by time and location and support operational planning.

  • Detected and documented data anomalies affecting operational reporting and inventory assumptions (Python, Tableau, QGIS, SQL).

  • Delivered concise summaries and visuals for stakeholders to improve data reliability and decision-making.

Data Science Intern · Hamoye Data Science Internship  |  March – August 2024

· Designed core metric framework to quantify electricity demand-supply gap as a measurable target variable — foundational methodological contribution to the group's predictive modeling project

· Analyzed electricity indicators across regions with focus on Sub-Saharan Africa

· Built Tableau dashboard for scenario analysis and regional pattern visualization

· Contributed to group publication on Medium (Hamoye HQ)

· Also contributed to malaria outbreak risk modeling project (data preparation, KPI design, feature engineering)

Tools: Python, Tableau

Data Analyst - TripleTen Hackathon, December 2023 – January 2024
  • Analyzed millions of NYC parking ticket records using Python.

  • Identified seasonal patterns and geographic hotspots, delivered BI insights (Tableau).
